GegraphaNext is Gegrapha's initiative to mentor and support Christian college students who believe they have been called to the field of journalism.
We have found that if a young professional seeks guidance from a Christian mentor as to an appropriate career path in which to live out their faith and their values in a professional calling, they are often directed away from a career in journalism when they are told the two - being a Christian and being a journalist - don't mix.
Through mentoring and other programs and services, Gegrapha is meeting a documented need to match students and young professionals with seasoned journalism professionals to show how they can be Christians AND journalists. They are shown how their Christian values can ensure the highest standards of truth, integrity, and ethics in this profession.
